The Parochial Junior Golf League operates under the direction of the Nashville Diocesan Athletic Council
Parochial League Junior Golf is a progam open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders whose schools participate in the Nashville Diocesan Sports Leagues.
The goal of the League is to introduce young ladies and gentlemen to the experience of competitive golf.
In order to accommodate all levels of experience, the league will be divided into three divisions, with experience, grade, and ability determining division placement.
Division I is designed for the more experienced 7th and 8th grade players. This Division will play 9-hole events and are expected to score no higher than 55 for nine holes. Division I is the most competitive level of play.
Division II is designed for experienced 6th, 7th and 8th grade players that score higher than 55 for nine holes. This Division will play 9-hole events on “Executive” type Par 3 courses. All 6th graders not participating in Division III will participate in this Division.
Division III is designed for 6th, 7th and 8th grade players that have little, or no, on-course experience. This Division will participate in the First Tee of Nashville.
