At season’s end, there will be a 2-day Invitational Stroke Play Tournament for qualifying teams and individuals. This will be an 18-hole event, (nine holes per day), with the total event stroke score in relation to par determining place. On the first day, teams and players will be seeded based upon qualifying team and individual points earned to date. On the second day, seeding will be based upon day one individual scores; however, the team competition shall still be in effect. In the event of an individual 1st place tie, the tied players will participate in a “sudden death” playoff format, with low scores advancing to the next hole until only one player remains. Regular season tiebreaker rules will apply to any tied teams at the conclusion of the competition. In the event of darkness, or inclement weather, a scorecard playoff will be used with the remaining tied participants. In the scorecard playoff, the player with the lowest hole score, using the course’s handicap system, beginning with the #1 handicapped hole, will be declared the winner. The “double par maximum” rule WILL NOT apply for this event; however, the maximum number of strokes on any hole shall be ten (10). (See Pace of Play).
